Odoo 12: More than just ERP, mature business management software
New dashboards to better understand your own data.Company data processed in a smart way.
Thanks to the new layout of the dashboards, you have a direct view of the KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) as soon as you open the application. The dashboards work like a custom report, where you can compare data from different time periods and track the evolution of your business. For example, in the Inventory app, your dashboard displays the average cycle times with in and out value information about your fixed assets. In the CRM app you can see at a glance the profit-loss ratio of the pipelines. Monitoring your business activities can be done in graphical form, pivot data or cohort.
Better barcodes for fast and traceable processes in the warehouse
In terms of inventory management, warehouse operations can be processed faster thanks to the new barcode app. In addition, the user interface (UI) has been redesigned to be perfectly adapted for mobile use. It makes it easier to scan batches and serial numbers, even if items are located on different shelves of the warehouse. Managing products in different warehouses is even easier with Odoo 12 than before. Even with work gloves, work orders can be easily edited with the barcode scanner.
Manage all files: Odoo documents
Even if you work paperless, it does not mean that others will. Suppliers continue to send their invoices by post and oblige their customers to archive them. With Odoo Documents, you can easily share, send, categorize, archive, and generate business documents such as vendor invoices, vendor returns, tasks, and electronic signatures. Odoo manages documents in the form of: PDFs, images, videos, and URLs. Like every Odoo app, Odoo Documents is fully integrated into the Sign, Projects and Accounting applications. You can request a signature of a file via Odoo Sign or you can automatically decode the contact data of a supplier from the invoice and save it in the system.
Easy presentation of all products: the new Odoo12 product configurator
Many native eCommerce features are now included in the backend. The website's visitor configurator is integrated into the back-end system, making it easy to create a job and save time. Get rid of the endless product lists with numerous variant combinations and configure them from the sales order by selecting the desired attributes.
When you configure the products, you can easily exclude combinations of values (for example, the bike does not exist in size XL in black).
The product configurator itself has also been improved. Thanks to the options offered in the shopping cart, you can do any upselling. Once an option is selected, you can link another product. It is automatically added to the list of available options. For example, if you select the child seat from the available options, you can have the child protection equipment displayed in the options list.
In addition, user-defined values can now be set, as well as the variant created when needed to manage fully custom products with different attributes.
Multi-website for differentiated addressing of your customer groups
In Odoo 12, it is now a reality: A fully equipped multi-site system in an integrated management system. This opens up a wide range of opportunities, diversification and customer segmentation for your business.
With Odoo 12, each website can now be operated completely independently with its own branding, domain name and content: header and footer, pages, languages, products, blog posts, forum, slides, events, live chat channels, etc.
Simple billing like "A, B, C"
Accountants often receive many paper bills, which they usually have to scan one after the other to create one PDF file per invoice. This is again time consuming. The process can be automated with Odoo 12 Documents. As soon as the "Scan to E-Mail" button is used, you will receive a PDF file that contains all invoices for the operation in the system. With one click you split the document per supplier. A feature based on OCR (Optical Character Recognition) helps you speed up the decoding of any information in the system.
Odoo 12 remembers what action was taken with a previous supplier invoice or order and uses this knowledge to replicate the same actions for the coming documents from the same vendor. The Forecasting Vendor Accounts feature allows Odoo to forecast vendor accounts based on previous invoices) or monitor compliance with management payments.
